Newly harvested grain should not be placed in the same bin with carry-over grain and all carry- over grain stocks that are not treated with grain protectant should be fumigated. These cleaning operations should be done within two or three weeks before harvest. After above sanitation measures have been employed, spray all areas prior to use for storage with 1 part to 29 parts water (0.95 L with 28.50 L water) up to 1 part to 11 parts (0.95 L with 11.4 L water). Apply at the rate of 3.8 L per 70 square metres on walls, floors, ceilings and partition boards of bins, paying particular attention to forcing the spray into all cracks and crevices. FOR USE IN LIVESTOCK AREAS: 1) To control poultry lice, use a dilution of 60 to 90 millilitres of concentrate per 3.8 L of water to spray roosts, walls and nests or cagesthoroughly.2) Forcontrolofbedbugsandmitesinpoultryhouses,diluteattherateof60to90millilitresper 3.8 L of water and spray crevices of roost poles, cracks in walls and cracks in nests where the bedbugs and mites hide. FOR USE IN BARNS, DAIRIES, MILKING PARLOURS, MILKING ROOMS AND POULTRY HOUSES: To control flies, gnats and mosquitoes, dilute at the rate of 60 millilitres per 3.8 L of water. REMOVE ANIMALS BEFORE SPRAYING. Apply as a fog or fine mist (at approximately 60 millilitres per 28 cubic metres of space), directing the spray toward the ceiling and upper corners and not directly towards the animals or birds. For best results, close doors and windows before spraying, and keep themclosed for 10 to 15 minutes. Applicator should vacate the treated area and ventilate it prior to returning. Milking equipment should be covered before spraying and washed thoroughly before use. Repeat application as necessary. PRECAUTIONS: KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Multi-purpose insecticide for use on ornamentals, stored products and livestock areas. Use alone as a clean-up spray or a pre-harvest spray. Do not apply this product in such a manner as to directly or through drift expose workers or other persons. The areas being treated must be vacated by unprotected persons. Do not enter treated areas until sprays have dried. USED ALONE: This concentrate can be used also as a clean-up or a pre-harvest spray where other materials cannot be used because of residue restrictions. This product may be used up to and including day of harvest. Contains natural pyrethrins. USED DILUTED: Apply 60 to 480 millilitres per 0.4 hectares and repeat if required to maintain effective control. Use in sufficient water for thorough coverage of upper and lower leaf surfaces (maximumof 380 L of water per 0.4 hectares) unless otherwise noted. It is recommended that the final spray mix be buffered to a pH of 5.5-7.0. Do not apply this product through any type of irrigation system. Direct the space treatment upward and whenever practical, keep doors and windows closed for at least 10 minutes after application. The use of this product in food processing or food handling establishments should be confined to time periods when the plant is not in operation. Food should be covered or removed during treatment. Where oil residues are not undesirable, this product can be diluted at the rate of 1 part to 29 parts up to 1 part to 11 parts in deodorized base oil instead of water and applied as a space spray with any good type applicator such as mechanical or ULV fogger capable of producing particles of aerosol size. FOR USE IN STORAGE SITES: This concentrate can be used in warehouse bins and trucks, cargo ships, mills, bin hoppers, elevators and conveying equipment as a clean up prior to using themfor storage. In mills and elevators, all grain- infested accumulations should be removed from the bin hoppers. All storage areas and conveying equipment should be thoroughly cleaned by sweeping out the waste grain, cobwebs and other debris fromthe walls and rafters as well as on the floor and door frames with special attention to material lodged in the cracks and crevices. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: This formulation may be used in mosquito adulticiding programs involving residential and recreational areas, overgrown wasteland areas, roadsides and pastures where adult mosquitoes are present in annoying numbers. Best results are obtainedbyapplicationwhenthereisaslightbreezeof3.25km/hrorless.Fogwiththe breeze so that the wind will carry fog from roads or paths into the area to be treated. Repeat applications as needed to obtain desired reduction in adult mosquito population. FOR TRUCK-MOUNTED LECO MACHINE: The objective is to treat terrain with 2.5 to 3 grams of pyrethrins and 25 to 31.25 grams of piperonyl butoxide per hectare. Fog this solution with a discharge rate of 60 to 67.5 mL per minute while machine is moving 3.25 km/h and pressure is set at 210.9 g/cu cm. Discharge nozzle is positioned approximately 30 degrees above horizontal off side of truck bed.
