What Are Halloween Bugs, and How Do I Get Rid of Them?
The halloween bug, is also known as the Predatory Stink Bug, which come in many different varities, shapes, forms, and even colors, such as the Boxelder Bug. It get's the name "halloween bug" from it's orange and black coloration(see picture below). These insects may also come in the Red/Black coloration pattern. Certain varities of this pest, such as the Boxelder(pictured on the left), are herbivores, targetting plants, shrubs, and tree's in your garden, while others, such as the Florida Predatory Stink Bug(pictured on the right), or the Horned Soldier are carnivores, with a diet consisting of other common garden pests such as aphids and caterpillars.
Getting rid of the Halloween Bug
